THE INVITATION
Every woman has a witch in her. The one who knows things. The one who doesn't ask permission. The one who's a little too much for a Tuesday.
On Halloween night, we're giving her somewhere to go.
The Coven Ball takes over Borden Hall, a gothic church in the heart of Ottawa, for one evening of candlelight, cocktails, and women who understand that the best nights require a little conjuring. Come dressed as the most dangerous version of yourself. Come to dance. Come to meet the women you were always meant to find.
This is Samhain the way it should be done. Not haunted. Enchanted.

THE NIGHT
Picture it. Two hundred women in a candlelit church. A room that hums. Food station and passed canapes, a cash bar, and a dance floor that fills early and doesn't clear. Costumes that range from the effortless to the frankly committed.
There will be prizes. And a few things we're not telling you yet, because a coven keeps some secrets.
You'll leave with your feet sore, your face aching from laughing, and a handful of new names in your phone. That's the plan.
WHO GATHERS
This is a night for women. For your sisters, your circle, the friend who hasn't had a real night out since who knows when, and the one you keep meaning to call.
If you've gathered with Girl Trips before, you already know you're in for a treat, not a trick. And if you haven't, come see what the fuss is about.
Warlocks and mortal men may attend, provided a witch brings them and vouches for their behaviour. The rest of the night belongs to us.

TICKETS
The coven is gathering, and the circle only holds two hundred.
Is this event for all ages?
The Coven Ball is a 19+ event designed with women 40 and up in mind. Younger women are welcome, but consider yourself warned. A room full of grown women in a candlelit church with a cash bar and a DJ sets the bar high.
What's included in my ticket?
Entry to the Coven Ball, real food from a grazing station, a DJ, a dance floor, prizes, and a few surprises we're keeping to ourselves. Drinks are available at the cash bar.
Do I have to dress up?
Come as a witch. That's the one ask. Sexy, Salem, sea, Wiccan, cottage, or the kind your mother warned you about. You don't need a full costume, but this is a coven, not a come-as-you-are, so lean in.
Where is it and when should I arrive?
Borden Hall at All Saints, Laurier Ave E, Ottawa. Doors open at 7:30. The night runs to midnight. Come when your night allows, the coven gathers late.
Is there parking?
Street parking is available around the venue. Give yourself a few extra minutes to find a spot on Halloween night, and consider a cab or rideshare if you're planning to enjoy the cash bar.
Is the venue accessible?
Yes. The accessible entrance and elevator are at the back of the building, so if you need step-free access, email hello@girltrips.ca ahead of the event and I'll make sure you're met and escorted in.
How do I pay?
Two ways. Pay by card through our ticketing page, or pay by e-transfer. Just fill in the e-transfer form on this page and send your payment to hello@girltrips.ca. Your spot is confirmed once payment arrives.
What is your refund policy?
All ticket sales are final and non-refundable. Tickets are transferable, though, so if you can't make it, pass yours along to another lucky woman. Just email hello@girltrips.ca to let us know.
I have more questions.
Email hello@girltrips.ca and we'll get back to you quickly.
