Frequently Asked Questions

Who are Girl Trips events for?

Women who are ready to get out of their heads and into the world. Most of the women who come are 40 and up, but that's a vibe, not a bouncer. If you're craving real connection, good company, and an excuse to stop apologizing for taking up space, you're in the right place.

What's included in the ticket price?

It depends on the event, but the details are always listed on that event's page. As a rule, if it's not mentioned as included, assume it's not, and if you're not sure, just email me.

Do I need to know someone to come, or can I come solo?

Come solo. Come with one friend. Come with twelve. Most women show up not knowing a soul and leave with a group chat full of new ones. That's kind of the whole point.

How does payment work, and is it secure?

For events like Roper on the River, payment runs through Simpli Events, easy, secure, and Canadian. For retreats and travel, payments run through Grit & Grace Adventures Ltd, my TICO-registered host agency, so you're booking with a properly licensed Canadian travel company, not just an Instagram page and good intentions. Either way, you'll get a confirmation once your spot is locked in.

Are you a licensed travel company?

Yes. I'm a TICO-certified travel agent, and Girl Trips operates under Grit & Grace Adventures Ltd, a TICO-registered host agency (#50027509). That means every trip and retreat you book through Girl Trips is backed by both a certified agent and a properly licensed Canadian travel company.

What's your cancellation and transfer policy?

For one-off events tickets are non-refundable but transferable, if life gets in the way, you can pass your spot to another woman, just email me and we'll sort it out. For retreats, deposits are non-refundable and we run a tiered refund schedule based on how close we are to departure. For full details on timelines and fees, check the Terms & Conditions page.

Where are you based, and where do events typically take place?

Girl Trips based in Ottawa, and most events happen in Ontario, with the occasional trip further afield. Wherever it is, you'll always know exactly where to show up.
