There’s something sacred about group travel for women in Canada; packing a bag, leaving the day-to-day behind, and heading out with your girlfriends. You don’t just LOL…..you laugh out loud, from your toes. The kind of laughter that echoes. The kind of conversation that goes deeper. And somehow, even just a weekend away can reset your entire outlook on life.
That feeling, that connection, is the spark behind Girl Trips.

I’ve been lucky to have incredible girlfriends in my life, and our getaways have been lifelines over the years. Every time I’d post a picture or share a story, I’d hear the same thing: “I wish I had that.” And honestly? That breaks my heart. Because every woman deserves that kind of connection. The kind that doesn’t require small talk. The kind that makes you belly laugh. The kind that fills your cup back up.

So I decided to do something about it.
Girl, forget lean in. I want you to learn how to lean on.
Lean on your girlfriends. Lean on new friends. Because when women lean on each other, they create something unshakeable. And that kind of support? That’s what Girl Trips is all about.
Why Group Travel for Women in Canada Matters
We’re more digitally connected than ever and yet somehow lonelier, more exhausted, and more divided. It’s time to unplug from the scroll and plug into something real. To look someone in the eye. To share a meal. To touch grass—or in the case of our first trip, water.
Girl Trips is about reminding ourselves that connection is essential. That joy matters. That your soul is allowed to come out and play. That being silly, is serious business.

The very first Girl Trips retreat is happening this September on the Rideau Canal. Just 20 spots. 3 boats. All the good vibes. See everything I’ve got planned now →
So, what is Girl Trips exactly?
Girl Trips was created to make group travel for women in Canada something more meaningful. It’s travel made for women who are ready to get out of their heads and into the world. Whether we’re camping, boating, soaking in a hot tub, or sipping wine by the fire, the vibe stays the same: low-pressure, high-fun, and fully human.
There’s no “find yourself” pressure here (unless that’s your thing). You can join in every activity or curl up with a book and skip one. There’s no wrong way to do a Girl Trip. The only requirement is that you come with a good attitude, a decent sense of humour, and the ability to share space with other women.

These trips are for women 45 and up (with room for the Gen Z and millennial daughters who can keep up). They’re for women who are done people-pleasing and ready for a little people-laughing.
They’re not for anyone who gets twitchy at the idea of group travel. If you’re not a “plays well with others” kind of person, this probably isn’t your jam—and that’s okay.
Why stay in Canada?
Because our country is full of magic—and because supporting local matters. Women make up the bulk of the tourism industry in Canada, and when we travel here, we support women in small towns, rural communities, and local businesses that rely on people like us showing up.

Could we go abroad one day? Sure. But for now, my heart is right here. And there’s more than enough beauty to keep us busy.
So what’s next?
The first Girl Trip is happening in September 2025 on the Rideau Canal with Le Boat (details coming soon). We’ll be floating, laughing, sipping, stretching (yes, there’s yoga), learning to drive boats, and probably, scratch that, definitely creating a few lifelong inside jokes.

If this sounds like your kind of thing, I hope you’ll join us—or at least keep us on your radar for the next one. And if you’ve got a dream destination or a trip idea you’d love to see come to life, my inbox is always open.
Life is stressful enough. Girl Trips is my way of pushing back—with laughter, community, and just the right amount of chaos.
Let’s go.
